Process

1. Discovery

We will assess your specific needs and situation during our discovery meeting. This will allow you to determine if custom building or remodeling is the best choice for you. 

 

2. Plan & Design

You will meet with our design resource to discuss your vision in detail. No selections or design recommendations will be made during this meeting by our design resource. This meeting solely allows us to make note of your preferences for accurate estimating. 

 

3. Estimating

We take your design choices and give a working budget for the cost of construction. This takes 2-6 weeks as our goal is to provide an accurate budget to avoid surprises later.

 

4. Contract Process

After cost procurement, contract phase will begin. This is the start of turning your dream into reality!

 

5. Design Process

If you have contracted with us for design services, we will begin making selections that achieve your style. After selections have been made, meetings will take place for sample review and sign-offs before construction begins.

 

If you have not contracted with us for design services, you will be responsible for choosing all selections (see design section of contract for full list) for your home before construction begins. This will require meeting with our approved vendors at local showrooms, providing skus for interior/exterior fixtures, etc. 

 

Making selections prior to starting construction is crucial to our timeline as there are long lead times with all vendors. This will also allow enough time to capture budget changes if desired selections are not within allotted budget as well.

 

6. Construction Begins

Let the fun begin! We will begin on your project and will have recurring meetings to provide progression updates. 

 

7. Walkthrough/Project Sign-off

Upon construction completion, we will do a walk through of each room to discuss all features that were selected.
